Metabolic Finishers: Use a quick burst of energy at the end of a workout to increase your heart rate and burn more calories.
Perform the following four moves as a circuit: Do one for 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds, and then move on to the next. Repeat twice. For a challenge: Do it for 30 seconds. Bonus: Sculpts arms, back, shoulders, and legs.
- Speed Squat: Feet hip width apart, bend your knees to 90 degrees, keeping your chest upright. Return to standing as quickly as possible.
- Squat Thrust: Feet hip width apart, bend your knees to place your hands on the ground and jump your feet back into a push up. Quickly reverse to return to standing.
- Mountain Climber: From a pushup position, quickly bring alternating knees toward your chest.
- Speed Skip: Skip in place, quickly bringing alternating knees up toward your chest.
Place two cones 10 yards apart. Holding a pair of heavy dumbbells, do one to three sets of the following sequence. Rest two to four minutes between sets. Bonus: Sneaks cardio in your fitness routine sans awful treadmill. :)
- Standing at one cone, do 8-10 bent-over rows: Hold a pair of dumbbells and bend forward, arms hanging straight. Pull the weights to the sides of your chest.
- Walk to the other cone and do 8-10 biceps curls. Hold weights by your sides, palms facing forward, and slowly raise them to your shoulders.
- Walk back to the first cone and do 8-10 squats. Hold weights at shoulders and bend your knees to 90 degrees, keeping your chest upright.
- Return to the second cone and do 8-10 overhead presses. With weights at shoulders, bend your knees slightly then push the weights directly overhead. Walk back to start
Place two cones roughly 25 yards apart. Sprint as fast as you can back and forth between the cones 12 times, for a total of six round trips. Try to finish in one minute. Rest for up to five minutes then repeat once or twice. Bonus: Tones your lower body, increases endurance, and fires up metabolism.
Add these to your outside workout routine and your metabolism will be revved up to the max! Who knows we will even try and do a video demonstrating all these moves! :)

You might have heard of Tim Bradley. He is the confident WBC Jr Waterweight Champion who is going to fight the Ultimate Manny Pacquiao on June 9th. Maybe you don’t even pay attention to fights, I don’t really either but when I recently saw a post that this ripped man turned Vegan and now feels more strong and confident then ever before it sure made me pay attention.
I thought this was some great inspiration because most “popular” fitness people out there and almost every guy in sports are usually not vegetarians or vegans. Most kids and people who want to look like all those famous fitness stars and sports players think they have to have tons of animal protein to get sculpted and a nice body but I hope this inspires many people that animal protein or even all those protein powders aren’t the only way to get a body like this. Sure this is a little extreme because he also does crazy workouts to get so ripped but to have all that muscle and go through all those intense workout camps he does all while being vegan proves a lot to the world.
“Dude I wear It’s the most unbelievable feeling ever.My thoughts are clearer, crisp, I am sharp. Everything is working perfectly-I feel clean.”
Even if you don’t agree with being Vegan I hope this inspires you to know that clean and plant based foods can make a huge change in your mind and body and hopefully you can start to add plant based foods to your daily meals. I say Kudos to Tim to having so much confidence and for being a real man and coming out and explaining how being Vegan has helped him and how much he is benefited, especially in a world where I doubt a lot of professional athletes agree with it all.

Aloha Posse!
Today is my last day in Hawaii & I am so sad to leave, but glad to be going home to my boyfriend and dog. This has been such an amazing trip & experience; I would recommend that everyone at least go to Hawaii once in their life. I could on and on about this beautiful oasis, but let’s get down to business! It’s Weight Loss Wednesday and what better way to say goodbye to Hawaii then filling you in on the weight loss benefits of pineapple?
